WRITING:
BalasHapusFirst, sorry of all guys. Because Mia Apriani had other activities, I represented her.
In my opinion in this section of writing I emphasize, not all children have to leave their parents at the age of 21 years. Why is that? maybe some children at the age of 21 leave their parents to continue their life, whether it's for higher education or to find work. but this is not responsibility , because in my opinion it is a decision that was taken without coercion or the listed rules. a lot of kids out there stay with their parents at that age. when they leave their parents it means they need a new home. New home means new building, it means we will grind more our nature material than it should be. i dont condone that.
So, what do you think about the opinion from mia?
I agree with Mia, 21 year olds don't have to live separately from their parents, because every child's readiness is different, so it's back to each child.
HapusI see what you tryna say, i agree with yours. It's all about responsibilty, are we ready and good enough to live alone and taking care of ourselves.
HapusYup, we got the same thought, Nur.
HapusPoor mia, well she is right. i think its our mental to prepare ourself to live tomorrow either it with our parents or alone
HapusI also agree that 21 year olds should not be separated from their parents, unless we are ready for the future.
HapusFirst of all, I would like to thank Aisyah for representing me and my friends who have participated in responding to my answer.
HapusExcellent opinion, Mia. As I see it, young adults who are 21 years old should not be forced to leave their homes and live with their parents anymore. Indeed, some parents hold that their child must leave the house at a certain age. However, to me, that is a bit of a misnomer. It doesn't mean that the children are grown up. Parents immediately let their children go. Young adults need to understand their parents on how to adapt to real life without parental control. Yes, life is all about choices. All options have risks. So, we just have to choose the best choice with the minimum possible risk.

HapusI have some opinions as yours. Great!
Hapuslike tyara said, its simple but well explained. great assesment !
HapusIt's correctly, so agree with this
HapusThat's true, I also agree. it's the right answer
HapusExcellent! Dika interprets each word clearly and is easy to understand. Such as Young adults, Parents, the Economy, Cities. To my mind, these words are still related to the categories of Education, psychology, and economics. All these words need to find their meaning to enrich our insight.
HapusTrue / False
BalasHapusa. The article says over half of adults worldwide live with their parents. (True)
b. Around 26 million young adults in the USA live with their parents. (True)
c. A greater percentage of young adults lived at home in the 1930s. (True)
d. More young people are living at home because of coronavirus. (True)
e. An analyst said a lack of student loans was a problem(False)
f. It might take nearly 10 years for young adults to be able to leave home. (True)
g. An analyst said the property rental market is being badly hit. (True)
h. An analyst said most young adults want to live with their parents. (False)
Okay everyone!! do you agree with me or not? give me the answer please.
Uraaaaa! yass, I agree with your answers, they're correct
HapusThat's true, most adults now prefer to stay at home, especially during this pandemic.
Hapusi agreed, especially point A. Shake my head there is plenty of young adults still live with their family. But we are a young adults too doesn't feel shy about lived with our parents. it means we can share more valuable times!
HapusGreat ,ais. Your answer is correct.
Hapusright answer and I totally agree with the opinion of M.Ananta
HapusWell, the answers to points A and B are facts. Adults are not yet capable of being fully independent. This is due to several reasons, such as not being able to make money, mentally still taking a long time, and getting used to all the necessities of life provided by parents, thus making the adult experience dependence on parents. Furthermore, at point D, I also experienced it. COVID-19 forced all people to stay home and reduce activities outside. All activities outside the home, now everything is done at home, such as work and school from home. Home is the only safe place to minimize the deadly coronavirus exposure. Then, there is still something to do with points A and B for point D. I would say that a decade is a suitable period to leave the house. During this time, young adults have to train their mentality and have a job that will not burden their parents later.

HapusYou have matched the word with its synonym correctly. Synonyms have a function: to make the words in sentences more varied so as not to bore the reader. As far as I know, there are many synonyms for each English word. The more we find synonyms of a word, the richer our vocabulary will be. The use of synonyms must be careful and do not let the message to be conveyed fail to be understood by the reader. These synonyms are still related to the fields of education and economics.
HapusDiscussion - Student A
BalasHapusFega Candra (A1B021022)
a) What do you think about young adults?
Answer:
Period when a person is in a situation that determines his future. Here the role of parents is very important to supervise him, but some parents are lazy and result in their children not getting a bright future. In economic problems at this time young people still take advantage of the results of people's income But not everyone can meet their economic needs well, it also affects the lives of today's youth.
Aisah Alzahra (A1B021038)
b) What do you think of living at home?
Answer:
According to me, one of the greatest perks of living at home is the luxury of having the time to sit and think extensively about your career decisions. You can take your time to get to the bottom of what motivates you and to work out the steps you need to take to get the job you actually want.
Tyara Bunga Desilia (A1B021036)
c) Why are more young people living at home?
Answer:
The reason why more young people living at home is because the massive student loan debt and a lack of available work. The economic downturn and a rise in unemployment, these difficult situations has been exacerbated by the pandemic and it may be the better part of a decade for younger demographics to recover and be financially stable enough to leave home.
Aisah Alzahra (A1B021038)
d) What are the good things about living with your parents?
Advantages of living with your parents:
1) You will save money.
2) You won't have to do all the housework.
3) Your parents can help with your kids.
4) The familiar, cozy, safe feeling of being at home.
5) The satisfaction of helping your parents.
6) You have a caring, supportive community built in.
Dika Capriati (A1B021037)
e) Should all young adults have to leave home?
Answer:
In my humble opinion, I don't think that all young adults should leave home, they can stay in their parents' house. that's not a bad thing, not all young adults are financially stable, by living in their parents' house they can also take care of their parents.
Fega Candra (A1B021022)
f) What do you know about the great depression?
Answer:
The Great Depression was an event of a dramatic economic downturn that occurred around the world that began in 1929 and lasted for about 10 years. This is often the case with most young people today, who are living extravagantly even though their jobs are non-existent and even still asking their parents. Bad things that often happen are usually they steal, rob, or other things that make them earn money so it doesn't cause this great depression in young people.
Agisti Carissa Sulistia (A1B021014)
g) Has coronavirus affected you financially?
Answer:
Yes, this pandemic has greatly affected financially, there have been many drastic changes in the community's economy due to changes in buying and selling interactions in the market. Many industries are also experiencing a slump due to this corona virus.
Nurliana Susti (A1B021002)
h) How has coronavirus affected your country financially?
Answer:
The corona virus is very influential in Indonesia, starting from different social interactions, for example when talking, you have to keep your distance, if you want to go you have to wear a mask. Teaching and learning activities have changed to online through zoom meetings, also in terms of work done from home. This has greatly changed the order of life in society.
What is your point of view? Please drop your comments below.
After i read, overall the answer is good. Each of them gave the right opinion.
HapusFor A Fega's answer, i thought the same. The role mode of Parents is really important for yooung adult. As a parent, you influence your child's basic values, like religious values, and issues related to their future, like educational choices. And the stronger your relationship with your child, the more influence you'll have, because your child will be more likely to seek your guidance and value your opinion and support.
HapusI agree with all of the answers above, and I also agree with Fega that parents are very influential on the growth and development of children, especially young adults, parents must teach good things for the future. Because the nature of children is formed from the way we educate and guide them.
HapusFrom the all of the answer i really agree with that. Especially with Tyara, everyone in here definitely feel it when stay at home
HapusGreat depression is the worst, if you ever feel all the things go wrong and you start feeling depress, please seek professional help and remember that you never walk alone:)
HapusYeah totally, agreed with tyara. its good personification from tyara
HapusOf all the answers, friends, all of them are correct, although some are still lacking, but they are close to being correct. I am very happy with the efforts my friends are doing and the time that has been spent
HapusI think so, Aisah. Many benefits we can take when we live with parents. They have taken care of us since we were in the womb. They automatically know our true character and understand our emotions. We can save money because our mother cooks food for us, so we most likely rarely eat snacks at the stall. Then, most of the housework is done by parents, and we are obliged to help parents clean the house as a form of devotion to parents. The establishment of cooperation creates a good communication relationship between children and parents.
HapusThat's a good point, Agisti and Nurliana. The effects of COVID-19 were felt on me. Poor financial conditions have affected everyone in the world, without exception. Newly-started companies and large companies experienced substantial losses. Furthermore, the state is also affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. To maintain buying and selling activities, the prices of several essential goods were raised. My family, including me, are trying to be frugal. At first, I could buy a lot of food at the convenience store, and now it's reduced to keep expenses down.

HapusDiscussion B
BalasHapus(By Mia Apriani ,A1B021017)
a) What do you think about what you read ?
Answer :
In my opinion, in the discussion section of student B, I agree with this because it is not only abroad, but in Indonesia now there are also many young children aged
18-30 year olds return to live with their parents due to the impact of covid-19 which has resulted in an increase in the number of unemployed
(By Mia Apriani ,A1B021017)
b) what do you think of student loans
Answer :
I think that is quite helpful, especially as the current economic situation is very low. enough to help young people who have not found work or are unemployed, to start new businesses with these loans
(By M Hikmal Farhansah,A1B021001)
c) Why will it take a decade for young adults to be able to leave home?
Answer:
Because young adults need time to recover and be financially stable enough to leave home.
(By M Hikmal Farhansah,A1B021001)
d) What are the bad things about living with your parents?
Answer:
From my perspective, some of the bad things that happen when I live with my parents are as follows:
1. Dependency
When I live at home with my parents, on average all my needs are taken care of by my parents. Thus, I'm spoiled and do not think about my future condition.
2. Lack of Privacy
Over time, I have come to believe that privacy is important and should be maintained. Parents who have a KEPO (knowing every particular object) trait are constantly on the lookout for what I'm keeping secret, so I'm feeling restless and have no safe place to keep my privacy.
3. Vulnerable to Conflict
Sometimes in a moment of difference of opinion in understanding something. My parents often interfere in my affairs. Therefore, it can cause a lot of conflict between me and my parents.
(By Dika Capriati, A1B021037)
E) Is it better to rent or buy an apartment?
Answer :
I believe that renting is much better than buying an apartment. By renting you can avoid certain costs such as making repairs and upgrades, property taxes and homeowners insurance. You can also save money when renting to buy a house or apartment in a better place.
(Tyara Bunga Desilia, A1B021024)
f) Would you prefer to live at home or on your own?
Answer :
For me I would like to have the opportunity to experience both living alone and living with people. But, I wouldn’t want living alone for my entire life, but living alone would be good too.
In this age, I already can view the advantages both of things. People can give you love and companionship and also frustration and conflicts. Living alone can be difficult and isolating at times but pleasant and liberating at other times.
(By Agisti Carissa,A1B021014)
g) what advice do you have for young adults ?
Answer :
Advice for young adults in my opinion, adults don't have to wait for our age to really mature but when someone has thought wisely then it is considered an adult, and indeed at times like this we must think before acting especially for young adult.
(By M Ananta Nugraha Y,A1B021024)
h) What questions would you like to ask the researchers ?
Answer :
I would like to ask something that make great impact to each individual .The question its more like dependable instead a concrete fact. Because you know every person is different, so because its different. Some personal research/studies like this must be valued. So my question is :
• is it more effective and productive for young people when they lived with their parents or when they are all alone?
• So living with parents, is it means someone try to be cheap/cut loans or rent ? or they more hedonist with something doesn’t they need.
• Why it is only many 80 year-high(milenial-gen z) who lived with their parents?
That's awesome, you guys give the correctly answer
Hapusall of the opinions above are true, young people prefer to stay at home, because the current situation is not good for activities, plus young adults are still dependent on their parents, and also at home we can be more flexible to find new ideas .
HapusI agree with Tyara's answer in part f, living alone will train us to be independent, but not living alone forever.
Hapusfor G Yes, true. agisti and i kinda have same thought, you don't have to wait for our age to really mature. In my point of view, Experiences especially the bad ones is the one who make human being to be mature from time to time
Hapusby the way, my npm is A1B021036
Hapusoh so sorry tya
HapusYeah, but I'm more interested in buying an apartment to own. For part E), if I work with a reasonably large salary, I will buy an apartment in full because I can't stand to think about money every month to pay for an apartment. It will cause trouble and interfere with my work productivity. Adults tend to have a lot to think about, so it's better to find the best solution not to bother yourself. We can enjoy apartment housing in peace by buying directly even though we have to save for a long time.

HapusI've been looking for the answer in the original text. correct answer, although there are still a few shortcomings. good job MAL
HapusThank you very much, guys. I have tried my best, even though this type of spelling problem requires high accuracy. The spelling problem is a bit tricky, but it's fun. I'm lucky to be able to work on questions like that.
HapusRole-Play
BalasHapusFrom the text we know that we as gen z and our senior are many of them still lived with their parents. So when we still lived with our parents, from the way I see the best thing about living at home is food. With good food and some consideration, we can lived at home with happy face. Not just that, but you can make a healthy and delicious food is a great contribution for you family. Some people said “Good Food,Good Mood” is true in this case.
And second is low-rent. The rent what I meant is not rent for places tax only. But some insurance, economical paper. When it comes out to low tax it means you doesn’t have to spend monet that much. You can save it for anything you like. Then we have chatting, we know that our activity is not only chatting someone.
We use internet everyday with some specifical reason and activity, even some of social media are used for influencer or promotion. And the last is washing , it’s the least attractive you can even do it with laundry payment.
what do you think guys ? are you think the most important to living is food?
HapusI totally agree with Ananta's answer. it is true that when we live with our parents we can not only eat delicious food but also a calm mood. not like when we are away from parents. just eat confused
HapusWow, the role-play topic opens with food and I'm excited. Parents' cooking is the most delicious dish of all time. Mother's recipe when cooking anything never goes wrong. I miss my mother's cooking at home when it comes to food. Favorite foods give suggestions to us to be happy. Of course, favorite foods must be balanced with adequate nutrition so that the body is energetic and enthusiastic in activities.
HapusRenting something must also pay attention to the facilities provided. However, we have to think about other things that are far more important, such as the necessities of life, especially for immigrant children like us. We must be able to save money, even though sometimes it is difficult to do in reality. We save to buy dream items that have long been coveted and maybe for internet quota purposes. Use the Internet wisely, such as looking for more educational articles and videos, and most importantly, don't waste your quota just to fulfill your inner satisfaction.
I don't know about other people, but I can say that it's better to wash it yourself. In addition to saving money, hand muscles can be trained and strong as a positive effect of these activities.

wow interesting answer, but I don't agree with the first answer. because I think holidays are the right days to relax and spend time with family
HapusI have to side with Mia on this one. Weekends are special days. We can be closer together with family. Examples of other positive activities include cycling, swimming, playing badminton with friends, and so on. Homework should be done entirely on weekdays so that on weekends we can relax our mind and body so that we can optimally continue our routine activities on the following Monday.
